Smallest monkeys in the world

What’s smaller than the smallest monkey on earth? Its baby. of course!

Introducing these two new adorable and absolutely tiny baby pygmy marmosets and Sydney's Symbio Wildlife Park's latest additions. Weighing in at just 15 grams and smaller than a human thumb, the little monkeys may be tiny to us, but they were the equivalent of a human giving birth to a ten-year-old child. That's certainly no monkey business!
Their proud parents Gomez and IT were introduced to each other last year, when IT arrived at the zoo's endangered species captive breeding program. And it was love at first sight! After years of bachelorhood for Gomez, he didn't monkey around and now they can call these precious little babies their own.
As well as being really, really ridiculously cute-looking, their birth is necessary for the ongoing survival of the endangered species. Being the world's smallest monkey, with adults weighing in at around the same weight as an average apple, at just 100 grams, the species is vulnerable to extinction, because of deforestation and illegal pet trade.
But there's no denying they're so adorable, it's bananas!
Difficult words: adorable (lovable, cute, sweet), tiny (very small), addition (somebody new), pygmy marmosets (a kind of small monkey), monkey business idiom (doing something silly), endangered species (an animal kind which may die out soon), captive (held behind a fence, not free), breeding (reproduction), bachelorhood (living as a bachelor – unmarried/single man), precious (amazing), vulnerable (not protected), extinction (dying out), deforestation (destroying forests), it’s bananas (it’s crazy).

MAN VS NATURE

https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjObfQIpyIasCrwcdyT94QyPZP5lUcIGciMBFQByJLj4T4Mjwj00N1Qe7WMdzv04cynQzluzpx8rlmEobdVu_rxBmb-ecvS2wEVSJFMb1J-18zh2gb4qX8lAKz3Gjzxga0shBdpufKX_qmA/s320/003f0abfa995891c87c2743d79e1d3b0.jpg

Man Vs Nature is looked at in many ways, and is often not completely understood before it's commented on. Many authors give their low opinion of man as they comment on man's destructive nature, and explain how man is trying to conquer nature and control it. But the nature of the world, and man himself, is far too powerful and unpredictable to be controlled. And man is far from being close to be able to destroy it, and therefore having control of it.
Nature also tames man quite a bit. Natural things like the mountains, the weather, and the rivers. Those are the things that man builds around. Yet...we can't move mountains, and we can't live on rivers. The weather also affects the nature of man quite a lot. However the weather is, man changes his activity accordingly. When it rains, we have accidents on the road...When it floods, so do our houses. Nature in often times is the destructor and not man. Sometimes man conquers nature, or thinks he has, but then he also knows nature is much more powerful than him, and it's that balance of trying to control nature as much as possible. Man tries to control nature as much as he can. He makes houses to protect himself from the wind; he makes dams and sewers to stop flooding from the rain, and takes other various precautions to protect himself from the harsh elements of nature. https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg6mwjx0CaTTIDIeLweziZ0gg232BL3b7Oiv3Ohp0WztpYMFKBmK7YATIZ3OUsKNVJyRi676gwgQhfgO9tUn1X2yda0MNnKTdO5nWQq6eAMn9nPSR1HLyTBxptC8XKCSUDhVYGrfqzwvm-M/s320/jurassicpark3-2001-3.jpgIt's always nature that rules in the end. Nature is simply stronger than man and technology. Man will always try to dominate nature with technology and computers, but man will never be able to dictate the direction the world is to take. The great magnitude of nature overpowers man significantly. Man may be able to predict earthquakes to an extent, but he is not able to stop Mother Nature's destruction. Men have no control over nature...he can alter the course, but cannot dictate the end.

What is the Use of Philosophy?

One answer is that understanding is something that we very often seek for its own sake. As Aristotle said long ago: “All human beings by nature desire to understand.” We are curious if nothing else, and it is one of the more admirable traits of human beings. We like to know what is going on and why. After we have fed ourselves and put a roof over our heads, and attended to other basic needs, the question arises what we are to do with our time. One suggestion is that we should raise our heads a bit and look around us and try to understand ourselves and things around us. This turns out to be interesting. It is the genesis of both science and philosophy, with science taking the more empirical road to understanding and philosophy the more conceptual. These are complementary enterprises and there have always been important connections between them which continue despite the growth of institutional science and its increasing splintering into more and more highly specialized sub-disciplines.

Universities are centers of curiosity. They are repositories and preservers of the accumulated knowledge and understanding of humankind as well as the primary centers in the modern of world of the pursuit of pure inquiry, that is, inquiry for sake of slaking our thirst for understanding. Why is this valuable? Well, why is anything valuable? It is a

I love turning to the younger generation to see what their perspective is.Young Person:    Polygamy now legal?   So what?  The Mormon Church won't even speak to that.  Remember, it was done to "raise up a royal people"......it served its purpose.  End of story.
Young Person:      Well, this is not a trending issue and won't become one.  Who cares?  No man wants more that one wife, not even Mormon men.  One is more than enough.
The big issue on social media trending now is Ordain Women....actually Ordain Women is bogged down into how women are treated in the Mormon Church.  Period.  "Ordain" is the lynchpin for huge conversations but the real trending issue is the lower status of females in the Mormon Church.  Not allowing equality in multiple ways. Real issues on old men criticizing young women and telling women how to behave and still trying to make women responsible for the sexual behavior of men.
These are trending issues for women and their daughters.

Me:   In other words, Ordain is light years further up the ladder from the rung of women's place being set forth and maintained by men?Young Person:       Well, I can just tell you what Mormon women are posting about on social media.  Most are quite unhappy and they are also unhappy with the Mormon women who support the church position like female robots.   Here, read these comments.

WHAT ARE OUR FEARS
First of all you can either live your dreams or live your fears, and I think the majority of people atually not living their dreams but are living their fears, so today I want to ask you a question what are our fears? I asked why we all have something that's blocking that's holding us back. Firstly let's me define sometimes we define fears as in  many situations, it is rational and prudent to fear another person. For example, if someone physically threatens you, the best response is to get away from that person as soon as possible. However, few of our interpersonal dealings involve such dire threats. It's more likely that you would fear those who may cause you to lose your job, relationships, self-esteem, or something else of high emotional value. It's important to examine your inner reactions to the people in your life in order to understand them, and yourself, that much better. Secondly how do we learn to fear others in the first place?
The emotion of fear is hard-wired into all creatures. As young children, your fears may have occupied much of your emotional life, perhaps because you were so vulnerable and unable to protect yourself. You probably outgrew those fears, partly by acquiring greater physical size and a wider range of abilities and experiences. In the worst scenarios—such as a bear invading your campground—you learned enough from others' stories to figure out how to get out alive.

Here are some of the negative consequences of fearing fear:

Fear of authority. Many people fear their bosses. Obviously, an employer or supervisor controls your own economic stability. In the contemporary workplace, however, there are controls against a capricious boss acting out in a moment of anger by firing a qualified employee. Due process and consistency with union statutes protect workers against this, as does the belief that many employers have in the value of supervisors and supervisees cooperating in a collegial way to maximize productivity. It’s possible that some supervisor truly deserve to be feared, if they act in unpredictable and punitive ways. But people may also project their childhood fears of harm or criticism onto bosses who do not act in fear-provoking ways.

Increased anxiety. Following from Nelson’s analysis,
gender dynamics may also affect the relationships that men and women have in the workplace. By stifling their fears to avoid looking weak, men may actually be creating more anxiety for themselves. They don’t want to admit that they’re afraid of getting fired, allowing that undercurrent of worry to fester for weeks, months, or years. Because of fear, they may even avoid supervisory evaluations, which would help them function as more adaptive employees.

Decline in productivity. According to this analysis, women trying to look more “competent” (and male-like) may attempt to cover up their emotional reactions as well. From the organization’s point of view, these circumstances hinder employees' ability to relax and be productive.

Misinterpreted gestures. If you have deep-seated anxieties about how well you fit in with the family as a whole, you may interpret what might be a neutral glance from that in-law as a glare filled with criticism. The fear this engenders only makes things worse. You may behave in an unnatural and overly guarded way that in turn creates actual grounds for negative feelings and poor communication.
Separate your own insecurities from the actual threats that the people in your life present to you. Not only will you feel better, but your relationships with those people will benefit, as well.

The Old Original Name of February

Though February is the shortest month of the year, it often feels like the longest in cold, snowy climates. Why does the month have only 28 days?
First here’s a little history of your calendar. The original Roman calendar only had ten months, because the winter was not demarcated. In the 700s BC, the second king of Rome Numa Pompilius added January and February to the end of the calendar in order to conform to how long it actually takes the Earth to go around the Sun. The two new months were both originally 28 days long. It is lost to history why January acquired more days, though there are various unverifiable hypotheses. At that time, March 1 became New Years’ Day. Later, in 153 BC, the beginning of the year was moved to January 1.

The word February comes from the Roman festival of purification called Februa where people were ritually washed. There is a Roman god called Februus, but he is named after the festival, not the other way around. Other months, like January, are named after Roman gods. (Curious about the duplicity of January?
The interesting linguistic story, though, lies in England. Before we adopted the Latin name for the second month, Old English used much more vibrant names to describe it. The most common Old English name was Solmonath, which literally means “mud month.” It is pretty clear what they were describing. A lesser-used term was Kale-monath, which meant “cabbage month.” We can imagine that the English were eating a lot of cabbage in February in the 1100s.
Ever wondered what the heck the “ides” of March were?
What do you think of February?

Many time I ask myself if it will be possible to get the world I want because now a days things as changes and living in new style like for exemple using of tecnologie things like cell phones.

Phones and Internet Access
I actually means that the use of phones in the society it getting the world very lazy to release that today because of all these cells phones as changes our mind of chatting without people face to face. Why did I brought these idea? Well I have been relaeasing for so many time and I always see people on cell phones chatting and also making calls, well so many people can say that oh it very easy to use cell phones and confortable for making callls, but the reason is that they don't know where all the parts of phones are from and they also don't relase that some people somewhere are suffering because of our phones. Most of the parts of cell phones comes from Africa "Congo" and people are taking theia resources away for futur seek for those whom are growing up. And also the cosumer celectronics products, as well as products from the jewelry, automotive, aerospace, medical equipment, and many other industries. Many people don't even know that also cause war;

I'm not saying that the use of is bad but it is causing war, conflict, waste of money and also taking people's resources away. I also like for the leaders to try to slove this problems because if not a day will come and there will not be cell phones and others tecnologie devices and so on. We have to think how we will avoid the conflict Minerals
